Concept details – The report also explains how the patent could be relevant to specific details.
“Might not teach” – If our advanced AI has not found an element that it thinks is important, the report will say, “This reference MIGHT NOT TEACH” the concept or element. (You can read the patent for more information regarding what the patent teaches about the element.)
Paraphrased excerpts – The report contains paraphrased excerpts (not exact quotes) to demonstrate the potential relevance of the patent. These paraphrased excerpts are designed to help you understand key portions of the patent in a very concise way.
Do not quote paraphrased excerpts – If you need quotes from the patent, please (1) click on the link to the patent at the top or bottom of the report and (2) search the patent for key phrases from the paraphrased excerpts. If you search the patent for an entire paraphrased excerpt, you won't find it (because it's a concise summary, not an exact quote). Instead, search for key phrases from the paraphrased excerpts (which will help you see multiple parts of the patent that could be relevant).
Ask questions – To the right of each report is a box that lets you ask questions about the patent described in the report. Rather than spending hours reading through the patent to answer your questions (such as whether the patent discloses a particular feature), you can simply ask our advanced AI and immediately get an answer.
Please read the patent – The report and the question box are not substitutes for carefully reading the patent. Please click the link to the patent (which will launch the patent in a separate window). There is a chance your careful analysis of the patent will uncover information that is different from the initial insights in the report. (We recommend asking a patent attorney to read each patent.)
